// note: a real system in production. The client is kept anonymous for privacy; the numbers above are pulled straight from the live app.
// The problem
When your product sits on dozens of dealer lots, keeping track of what's actually there — and whether it matches the accounting system — is a constant headache. Miscounts and mismatches with QuickBooks mean lost units and numbers you can't trust.
// What I built
This platform runs the whole reconciliation loop. Dealers and reps get role-based dashboards; each month they submit inventory reports, and the system tracks every unit by serial number, color, and condition through a multi-state workflow. It automatically flags discrepancies against QuickBooks, pulls fresh data from the manufacturer's upstream system through a separate import API, and even helps dealers post units to Facebook Marketplace via a browser extension. Support tickets sync to Monday.com.
// The result
Inventory across the dealer network gets reconciled every month against the books instead of quietly drifting, with every unit tracked by serial. A real production system, live at its own domain, with around 59 API routes and a separate import microservice.
