Custom software · Supply chainSupply-chain order platform for a building-materials company
A supply-chain ordering platform I built for another company — the whole company-to-shop order flow in one place.
- Org levels
- company · warehouse · shop
- Screens
- 70+
- API routes
- 36
// note: a real system in production. The client is kept anonymous for privacy; the numbers above are pulled straight from the live app.
// The problem
A building-materials operation needed to coordinate ordering across a company, its warehouses, and its retail shops — with product 'packages,' endless variations, custom configurations, and color choices for trim, siding, and roofing. Doing that across levels without a shared system means mismatches, re-keying, and no real view of where an order stands.
// What I built
The platform ties the levels together. Company, warehouse, and shop each get their own role-based dashboard, and orders flow through the hierarchy. Users build orders from pre-configured packages with variations and add-ons, or assemble fully custom packages item by item, with color specs for trim, siding, and roofing baked in. Orders move Pending → Confirmed → Shipped → Received, everything exports to PDF and Excel, and there's a Monday.com integration for support plus email for transactional updates.
// The result
One platform coordinates ordering from the company down to the shop floor, custom or catalog, with a shared view everyone trusts. Built on Next.js, Prisma, and MongoDB — 70+ screens and 36 API routes of a real, in-production system for another company.
What's in it

- Orders from pre-configured packages with variations and add-ons
- Fully custom package building, item by item
- Color configuration for trim, siding, and roofing
